but our table had finished our entrees and were on to dessert before one of the other tables got their entree. Our group was around 40 people at 4 or 5 tables. The menu is apparently a la carte, so we had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes served family style as our "sides".ĭessert was a generous portion of cheesecake topped with strawberries. In addition, my table mate had to request harseradish it was not offered when she placed her order. Several other people at the table got the petit filet and prime rib. I went with the salmon, which was a generous portion nicely cooked, but rather bland. Our entree choices were petite Filet, Prime Rib, Sante Fe Chicken, grilled pork chops, or Grilled Salmon. The bread was thin slices of italian bread - again nothing special. ![]() The salad was so-so - a typical house salad that I would expect from a mid-price. We were provided with a limited menu due to the size of the group. I ate here as part of a group tour it was for our farewell dinner. The service was excellent throughout the meal, particularly our server Eva, who was professional, friendly, and present whenever she was needed. For dessert we had the delicious pecan pie with whipped cream and a berry tart/cobbler. Our Caesar salad first courses were excellent as well. Accompaniments are all a la carte but also delicious, particularly the mushrooms and the potatoes lyonnaise. Three of us had red-meat entrees, perfectly prepared, and one of us had the chicken, which was out of this world. The restaurant isn’t cheap, but there’s great value for money spent. The place is pretty conversation friendly too because there is carpet and acoustic ceiling tile (although some people no longer use their indoor voices anywhere these days). The setting is all urban sophistication: mirrors. Last night’s dinner was as great as friends said it would be. We’ve lived in Santa Fe for more than a decade but never previously visited the Bull Ring, even though we had heard good things about it.
